Project #2 Hummingbird
My project was a moving shrek head that had light up eyes and made noises from the movie. It was activated by movement in front of it. I decided to make shrek because I think he is hilarious. I used a 3D printer, hummingbird, wires, servo, LEDs. It was hard to finish in time but me and my partner pulled through in the nick of time. If I could change one thin it would be to give us more time to make it more intricate.
Creators Studio Wiring Project: Thomas
My project is about wiring LED lights in a creative way. I decided to make Thomas the tank engine with red LEDs as eyes. It is colored blue with black stripes just like Thomas in the cartoons. To make my project I used cardboard, blue pencil, black sharpie, corrugated plastic, 2 red LEDs, a battery, pvc pipe piece, button, wires, and a resistor. The tools I used were scissors, hot glue gun, and solder. The most challenging part of this project was wiring my project. This was difficult because I have never done this before and it was a challenge to me. The first time I wired I used bad lights and they wouldnt light up. Then I had to rewire and my train worked. Seeing the final project was the best part of this project. By going through this project I learned how to wire and how to make something new. If I had to change one thing about my project I would add a speaker that played Thomas's theme song on loop.
